Jim Martin

Hi! I'm Jim, a designer and engineer in SF. I make tools & toys that help people realize their creative potential. I believe software shapes art, identity, social culture in a way that can be understood and thoughtfully designed.

I work on Roblox Studio; the tool behind every Roblox game and many young people's first experience creating software.

Before Roblox I designed creative tools at Netflix and Pixar for professional artists. I've also contributed to Artbreeder as a design engineer. I'm most proud of collager, and created a ton of interesting experiments with the team behind artbreeder: studio morphogen.
